I've been bringing my cars here since Quality Plus closed a few years back. Always very satisfied with the honest evaluation of my cars, and good service. Never feel like I'm being hornswoggled into getting something I don't need.

The testimonial: Great experience with JR ‘s. I needed someone who really knows the intricacies of vintage Subarus. My 02 WRX Wagon needed someone who can diagnose without strictly using the on board diagnostics. I had previously paid a shop to diagnose without any positive results . JR correctly diagnosed it and solved my problem - same day. I give 5 stars - There is nothing as good as real world experience on cars.

I drove my car across the country and it was due for some work when I got here. There was a laundry list of items so I was not expecting a small bill. Wes kept me updated on the status of my car and an estimate of total cost based on services performed and there were zero surprises on the final invoice. One of the things needing addressing was a coolant leak only while the engine was cold which they promptly found the cause of and I haven't leaked coolant now 3 weeks later after receiving my car back so I am very happy with the work done. Don't go here expecting cheap labor but they are very thorough and will have you back on the road. What really had me blown away was that with my busy work schedule as a nurse I wouldn't have been able to pick up my car for quite a few days when it was finished but they offered to drop it off at the hospital I was working at and actually made it happen. I still am so grateful for that; thank you guys. That kind of service deserves 6/5 stars and I am very glad I went here. Would recommend to anyone!

I went in for my first service with Certified Automotive Repair. I was very pleased with every step of the process. I had an oil change and 22 point safety check for my Toyota Camry Hybrid. The service which was completed while I waited. Team members were professional and friendly. I will be returning for all my vehicle maintenance and repair.

I have taken several of my vehicles here. I have always had a great experience (as good as you can when needing a vehicle repaired) with the employees and never felt pressured into repairs. The explanations have consistently through and detailed and the prices fair.

I started taking my RV here for service. They are well versed in all makes of vehicles. Thier prices as very competitive. Most repairs are done in one day.

Recently, I brought in my 2000 Acura RL in, to have a temperature sensor repaired. Certified Automotive Repair did an excellent job at a reasonable price, and offered me transportation to the shop to pick up my vehicle when it was completed. I would highly recommend their service.

The employees at Certified Automotive Repair go above and beyond! They were extremely helpful when my transmission died due to another auto repair shop's negligence. They diagnosed the issue very quickly. They showed integrity when they urged me to go back to the negligent mechanic to discuss a transmission repair. They spent time on the phone and in-person answering my questions. They wrote a detailed report and provided photographs that I could submit to the insurance adjuster. They offered to speak with the negligent mechanic and discuss their findings. They were gracious about the time it took me to negotiate with the other repair shop and start the insurance claim. They allowed me to temporarily store my non-drivable car at their secure facility. I felt safe leaving my car on their premises because they have a locked gate. All staff members I worked with treated me with respect. As a female, this has not been the case at all auto repair shops I used in the past. No one talked down to me or treated me like I did not understand just because of my gender. Their services are competitively priced. Because of my experience, I will continue to service my car at Certified Automotive Repair. I highly recommend them!

Great service! I’ve been going here for 15 years and I’ve never had a bad experience! On multiple occasions the owner has personally taken care of my appointment - it’s a hands on type of place with a great team and they truly care.

Great experience with Certified Automotive. They fixed my trucks AC and replaced the water pump-thermostat. Everything went great and faster than expected. Would highly recommend to anyone needing anything fixed on your vehicle.

I came down from Portland to look at a vehicle at a dealership nearby this shop. I called around to a few places and they scoffed at the fact I was trying to schedule a same day appointment with a mechanic. I realized it would be near impossible to get in somewhere for an inspection with such short notice. One shop recommended I tried Certified Auto Repairs, so I called. I was in disbelief when they said they could do it. I drove the vehicle down there, and they got me in and out within a couple hours. This is unheard of in the Mechanic industry, especially for a reasonably priced, smaller shop. I cannot say enough how grateful I am that they were able to get me in same day for a pre-purchase inspection. They did a thorough job and pointed out all issues/concerns with the vehicle. The tech who did the inspection postponed his lunch in order to squeeze me into their busy schedule. Extremely appreciative, would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

These guys got my vehicle after another shop wired in an o2 sensor incorrectly and burnt up a bunch of stuff. They took pictures of the damage notated everything and sorted me out. Thank you very much team. I was having this work performed because I'm having health problems and have been unable to work on it myself. It was nice to find one honest shop. Now I have a Cadillac that's having some electrical issues as well so, you earned yourself some repeat business.

Best place in Salem to get your car serviced. Ive been taking my vehicles to Certified Automotive Repair as long as i can remember and never once been disappointed. Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your car or truck is repaired properly.
